Local festivals in Armilla
Armilla's major festival honours San Miguel Arcángel. The Town Council, its Festivals Department, associations and residents take part in the popular fair, religious observances and cultural and sporting events.
Usual celebration
San Miguel has its central date on 29 September, with events in streets, squares and municipal fair venues. The patron's procession and the Manuel Galera cycling memorial form part of the local tradition. The municipal source does not set a fixed duration, since the specific days depend on each edition's programme.

The Andalusian Government lists 15 May, San Isidro, and 29 September, San Miguel, as Armilla's two local holidays in 2026. They are paid, non-recoverable days and are not inferred solely from the patronal status of the celebrations.
Other events
The festive calendar includes the San Antón bonfires on 17 January, the May Crosses on 3 May and San Isidro on 15 May. Neighbourhood groups build decorated crosses, while the San Antón tradition brings together bonfires and the local stew known as olla de San Antón.
