Las Patron Saint Festivities of Las Gabias in honour of Our Lady of the Crowned Snow culminan habitualmente el 5 August, main date dedicated to the patron saint. Its duration changes depending on the edition: in 2026 spanned thirteen days, from 24 July to 5 August, from the opening of the bonsai days to the final religious celebration.
Los places of the 2026 municipal programme were distributed throughout different spaces in the city, with the main actions in the municipal booth. Among its own traditions were the Ofrenda Floral of 25 July, the Wine Fountain on 1 August and, on the 5th, the Function Mass, the procession of the Virgin through the streets of Las Gabias and the fireworks display. There were also concerts, festivals, exhibitions, gastronomic competitions, children's and sports events, a water party and a team Grand Prix.
The City Council and its Festival Department, the Brotherhood of Nuestra Señora de las Nieves Coronada, associations and groups, municipal staff, Local Police, Civil Protection, neighbors and visitors participate. This organised participation distinguishes the patron saint's events from other celebrations in the municipalities of the municipality.
Los local public holidays of Las Gabias in 2026, officially published by the Regional Government of Andalusia, were the 4 May and el 5 August. They are two non-working days for work purposes and should not be confused with the thirteen days of holiday programming.
