La Feria del Rosario, dedicated to the patron saint of Fuengirola, is usually celebrated from 6 October to 12: seven days with main date 7 October. The Fairgrounds is its central space and brings together booths, attractions, performances, horse riding and family activities. The religious aspect is articulated around the church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario and the procession of the patron saint through the urban centre. The City Council, brotherhoods, cassette players, clubs, artists, neighbors and visitors participate.
Los Boliches also celebrates the Virgen del Carmen around 16 July. In the edition of 2026, the fair took place from 15 July to 19, with a duration of five days at the Fairgrounds. The municipal programme included concerts and activities for different ages; the novena began on 7 July, the traditional Tirada del Copo was staged on the beach on the 11th, the Santa Fe Flamenco Festival occupied Pedro Cuevas Square on the 14th, and religious events honoured the sailor's patron saint. This programming corresponds specifically to 2026, while the dates of each edition may vary.
Local public holidays in 2026: The calendar published by the Regional Government of Andalusia set the 16 July, Virgen del Carmen, and the 7 October, Virgen del Rosario. They are the two local non-working days, paid and non-recoverable; Neither the five days of the Carmen Fair nor the entire week of the Rosario Fair were therefore non-working.
