Feria, Semana Santa y cultura malagueña
The reference celebration is Feria de Málaga, with main day 19 August. The usual holiday period lasts about a week in August and develops in historic centre during the day and Real de la Feria in Cortijo de Torres at night.
Among the associated traditions, the verdiales, portada, alumbrado, caballos, casetas, conciertos, fuegos artificiales y actividades populares. Participan principalmente City Council, associations, clubs, hospitality, neighbors, families and visitors, when the annual programme contemplates it.
