Local festivals of Coria del Río

The patron saint of Coria del Río is Virgin of the Star, whose holiday is celebrated on 8 September. The Fair is the other big event in September: the fairgrounds bring together booths, attractions, concerts and neighbourhood coexistence, while the parish, the urban centre and the Guadalquivir area host religious and cultural events. The Celebrations Delegation organises the Major Festivals and coordinates their celebration with brotherhoods, cassette players, associations, artists, neighbors and visitors.

Annual programme and duration: As of the date of updating this file, the municipal portal has not yet published the dates or the complete programme of the 2026 Fair. The last edition detailed by the City Council was that of 2025, held from 17 September to 21 during cinco días, with daily performances, a noise-free hour on the attractions for people with hearing hypersensitivity, and a final drone show. These data describe that edition and are not presented as a 2026 programme.

Local public holidays in 2026: the BOJA sets the 8 September and the 21 September for Coria del Río. These are the two non-working days, paid and non-recoverable; They do not alone determine the duration of the Fair. Other events with their own calendar are Holy Week, the Japanese Tōrō Nagashi ceremony by the river and activities on the historical link with Japan.
