Local festivals, fairs and culture in Llucmajor

The municipal page of Fires explains that the Llucmajor fairs have been held since 1546 and are linked to the privilege granted by Charles V. The fair calendar starts on the day of Sant Miquel and extends to the Darrera Fira and Es Firó.

• Main celebration day: 29 September, Sant Miquel, with proclamation of Fires and First Fira.
• Usual duration: from Sant Miquel until the Sunday before Sant Lluc, with Es Firó the Monday after the Darrera Fira.
• Usual places: the centre of Llucmajor, especially the area around Plaça d'Espanya, shopping streets, exhibition spaces and areas linked to the annual programme.
