Usual celebration
The patronal festivities honouring Our Lady of the Assumption and San Roque are usually held from 14 to 20 August. Over seven days, Plaza de España, the streets, the bullring and the parish surroundings host the festival-club parade, regional dancing, bull events, musical evenings, Masses and processions.
The Town Hall coordinates the programme with festival clubs, associations and the parish; residents and visitors also take part.
2026 programme
The municipal programme concentrates the festive events from 14 to 19 August 2026. It includes the festival-club parade and opening address on the 14th; the Assumption Mass, offering and procession on the 15th; bull runs, bull events and orchestras from the 15th to the 18th; and the festival clubs' meal at Río Barrio on the 19th.

Castile and León's official calendar sets Monday 25 May, the Virgen del Pinar pilgrimage, and Monday 30 November 2026, San Andrés, as Cantalejo's local public holidays.
Other events
The traditional calendar includes San Cristóbal around 10 July, the Virgen del Carmen pilgrimage on 16 July, San Andrés on 30 November and the parish Holy Week processions.
