Local festivals of El Espinar

The municipal page of festivals and traditions collects celebrations throughout the year. In the centre of El Espinar, the San Eutropio, el 30 April; the festivities of the Virgin and Saint Roque, los días 15 and 16 August; and the festivities in honour of Santísimo Cristo del Caloco, in September.

• Usual places: church and urban environment of El Espinar, Town Hall, Cipriano Geromini Park, hermitage and meadow of Cristo del Caloco, as well as spaces of San Rafael, La Estación and Los Ángeles de San Rafael in their own festivals.
• Associated traditions: masses, processions, proclamation of the Mayor and Ladies of Honour, festivals, popular games, bullfights, concerts, blessing of bread and wine in the Caloco meadow and accompaniment of the image on its descent to El Espinar.
• Participan: City Council, associations, brotherhoods, neighbors, schoolchildren, families, visitors and the Tourist Initiatives Centre in events such as the Gabarreros Festival.
