Local festivals of La Lastrilla

La Lastrilla distributes its festive calendar between the main centre and El Sotillo. San Isidro Labrador, San Pedro and the summer festivities in honour of San Juan stand out, while El Sotillo celebrates San Alfonso Rodríguez. San Frutos and other popular activities complete the community events of the municipality.

• Date and duration: San Isidro tiene como referencia el 15 May and San Pedro on 29 June. The City Hall's official festival page places the patron saint celebrations of San Juan from 18 August to 20 and those of San Alfonso Rodríguez, in El Sotillo, on the first weekend of September. These are traditional references; The annual programme may extend or adjust the days.
• Usual places: The Plaza de La Costana concentrates San Isidro events and other popular gatherings. The Plaza de las Canteras is one of the festive settings in El Sotillo, while the Julio Boal Cultural Centre and different sports spaces and streets in the municipality host complementary activities.
• Traditions: San Isidro brings together a procession, dulzaina music, shared meals, festivals and bullfighting celebrations. The summer celebrations incorporate club activities, concerts, children's and sports events; El Sotillo organises its own events in honour of San Alfonso Rodríguez.
• Participación: The City Council coordinates the programming with clubs, associations, clubs, establishments and residents of La Lastrilla and El Sotillo. In the 2026 edition of San Isidro there were religious, musical, gastronomic and bullfighting events during the weekend.
