Local festivals of the Royal Site of San Ildefonso

The municipal page of traditional festivals includes celebrations in San Ildefonso-La Granja, Valsaín and the entire municipality.

• San Ildefonso: is celebrated on 23 January with traditional mass in honour of the saint and popular lunch in the Plaza de los Dolores.
• San Antón en Valsaín: is celebrated on 17 January, with a prominence of arts and sports linked to the Montes de Valsaín.
• Semana Santa: The City Council highlights the Penitential Way of the Cross, the Procession of the Holy Burial or of Silence and the Procession of the Encounter.
• Octava del Corpus: religious act of historical tradition in the Royal Collegiate Church and in the Gardens of the Royal Palace.
• San Luis: patron saint festivities of La Granja at the end of August, with a big day on 25 August and the spectacle of the Fountains as a prominent reference.

• Festivals in Valsaín: They are celebrated at the beginning of September in honour of Nuestra Señora del Rosario.
