Daimiel local festivals

The official festivities page of the City Council highlights the Carnaval, la Semana Santa, la Fair and Festivals, la Pilgrimage in honour of the Patron Saint, la Harvest Festival and other neighbourhood celebrations and local traditions.

• Name of the municipality's festivities: Daimiel Fair and Festivals in honour of the Virgin of the Crosses.
• Official period indicated: del 31 August to 5 September, according to the municipal festivities page.
• Romería: On the second Sunday of September, the pilgrimage is celebrated in honour of the Virgin of the Crosses in the Sanctuary.
• Semana Santa: The City Council describes it as one of the most important in the region and declared a Festival of Regional Tourist Interest.
• Harvest Festival: It is celebrated during the first weekend of October, organised by FEDADA with municipal collaboration.
• Associated traditions: Daimiel in Concert, grape harvest competitions, wine tasting, horseback riding, Pisá de la Uva, gastronomic activities and religious events.
• Otras festividades: San Antón, La Paz, festivals in the neighbourhood of El Alto, San Juan, San Cristóbal, San Roque and Los Cubos.
