The most recognized festival in Miguelturra is the Carnaval. The City Council informs that the Miguelturra Carnival has recognitions such as Festival of Regional Tourist Interest, Festival of Customary and Cultural Interest and, since 2018, Festival of National Tourist Interest.

• Name of the main festival: Carnaval de Miguelturra.
• Rasgos tradicionales: Street Mask, Alhiguí, murgas, Estudiantes, troupes, contests, parades and carnival pastries such as frying pan flowers.
• Espacios habituales: streets of the municipality, Plaza de España, Plaza de la Constitución, Parque Doctor Fleming and Palacio del Carnaval CERE, according to the annual schedule.
• Recent programming: The City Council presented Carnival 2026 as a ten-day programme that began on 13 February 2026.
• Patron saint festivities: The festivities of the Holy Christ of Mercy were celebrated in 2026 from 1 May to 12, with religious, cultural and sporting events.
• Virgin of the Star: The City Council places the festival of the patron saint during the second week of September, with floral offerings, proclamations, processions and cults.
• San Isidro: The festivities take place in May and their highlight is the pilgrimage in the Sierra de San Isidro.
• Peralvillo: San Marcos is usually celebrated in April in the Peralvillo annex, with programming organised by the City Council, the neighbourhood association and collaborators.
