Local festivals of Mota del Cuervo

Mota del Cuervo preserves a festive calendar linked to devotion to Virgen de Manjavacas, its mills and unique popular traditions. The patron saint festivities are celebrated in August and have as their central moment the Brought and Carried of the Virgin of Manjavacas, recognized as a celebration of tourist interest since 1977.

  • Date and duration: The Traída is celebrated on the first Sunday in August. The image runs on shoulders and runs the seven kilometers between the Manjavacas hermitage and the town; Two weeks later the return transfer is made.
