Festivals in Sant Feliu de Llobregat
Local festivals in Sant Feliu de Llobregat
The two main municipal celebrations are Festes de Primavera, linked to the town's rose-growing tradition, and Festa de Tardor, centred on Catalan popular culture.
Usual celebration
Festes de Primavera are usually celebrated over several days in May. The National Rose Exhibition and the trade and industry fair occupy Palau Falguera, its gardens and nearby streets with rose competitions, gardening displays, commerce, music and family activities. The Town Hall organises the event with rose-growing associations, exhibitors, local businesses and cultural groups, maintaining Sant Feliu's identity as Ciutat de les Roses.
Festa de Tardor is centred around 12 October in the town-centre squares and streets, especially around Plaça de la Vila. Over several days it usually features an opening speech, parades, giant gatherings, a correfoc, dances, percussion and concerts with colles of giants and devils, musicians, dance groups, associations, residents and visitors.
Local public holidays in 2026
Catalonia's official calendar sets 25 May, Whit Monday, and 9 October as Sant Feliu de Llobregat's paid, non-recoverable local public holidays in 2026. These two non-working days do not cover the full duration of the spring and autumn festivals.
Other events
The municipal calendar is completed by exhibitions, music, heritage and association-led events at Palau Falguera, Parc del Roserar de Dot i de Camprubí and other venues across the town.
