Usual celebration
The principal festival honours Our Lady of Charity, patroness and honorary mayor for life. It begins on Easter Sunday, reaches its main day on Easter Monday with the procession and ends on Tuesday. Fireworks, a fair and community gatherings accompany the religious events.
The town also holds the Cristo festivities on 13 September, as well as Carnival, pilgrimages and events for emigrants.
