Local festivals of Haro
The jug festivities of San Juan, San Felices y San Pedro link the bonfires and the Chocolate Dawn with the events dedicated to the patron saint and culminate on 29 June in the Batalla del Vino, Festival of National Tourist Interest. The town centre, the Plaza de la Paz, the parish of Santo Tomás and the Riscos de Bilibio, located about six kilometers away, form its festive geography.
- Date and duration in 2026: del 24 June to 29, six days according to the municipal poster and programme.
- Annual programme: The festival book brought together proclamations, music, children's activities, club events, religious celebrations and cultural proposals. The 29th began with targets and the departure of pilgrims towards Bilibio; After the mass in the hermitage of San Felices, the Battle of Wine was celebrated. The return included the traditional Vueltas in the Plaza de la Paz.
- Tradition and participation: Pilgrims dressed in white and with red scarves, peñas, brass bands, brotherhoods, groups and visitors participate in a day that unites devotion, wine and coexistence. The City Council organised buses between the Tirón river bridge and the fields for the 2026 edition.
- Festivals in September: The Virgen de la Vega centres another patronal cycle; The Rosary of the Lanterns, the floral offering and the first must and the participation of the Brotherhood of the Virgin are its hallmarks.
