Usual celebration
The patronal festivities of Nuestra Señora de la Paz are held in January around the 24th and last several days. Their main places are the town centre, churches and public squares, where the Hermandad de Nuestra Señora de la Paz, supported by the Town Council, organises novenas, salves, Masses, a floral offering, a procession and cultural events. In May, San Isidro brings together a fair, stalls, concerts and family activities at the Parque de Andalucía fairground, as well as the pilgrimage to the San Isidro pine grove on the 15th.
Local public holidays in 2026
The official labour calendar declared 24 January and 15 May as paid, non-recoverable local public holidays in Alcobendas. They are the municipality's two local non-working days for 2026 and do not, by themselves, set the duration of either patronal programme.
Other events
The municipal cultural calendar also includes Carnival, San Juan activities and programmes at the Teatro Auditorio Ciudad de Alcobendas and the Centro de Arte. These events are separate from the two local public holidays.
