The patron saint festivities of Nuestra Señora del Rosario and the pilgrimage of San Babilés are the celebrations most closely linked to the local calendar.
Usual celebration: Our Lady of the Rosary
The patron saint is celebrated on 7 October and the municipal festivals are usually celebrated during several days of the nearest weekend, between the end of September and the beginning of October. The triduum lasts three days in the church of the Antiguo Convento de la Encarnación, on Calle de las Monjas; It is followed by high mass and a procession through the historic centre. The City Council and the Brotherhood of Our Lady of the Rosary organise these events with the parish, clubs, associations and neighbors.
