Patron Saint Festivities of the Christ of Mercy
Fuenlabrada celebrates its Patron Saint Festivities of the Christ of Mercy, whose central date is 14 September. The programme combines worship and procession with the proclamation, the peñas parade, running of the bulls, fireworks, attractions, booths and concerts. The City Council, the brotherhood, clubs, regional houses, cultural and sports entities, Local Police, National Police, Civil Protection and thousands of neighbors and visitors participate.
2026 edition: municipal progress confirms at least six consecutive days, from 11 September to 16. The Joaquín Sabina Multipurpose Space at Parque Ferial hosts concerts on the 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th and 16th; the stage of the Plaza de la Convivencia, on the 13th and 15th. The municipal device is deployed from 5 September to 18 and places a good part of the attractions, booths, concerts and fireworks in the Fair Park, while other traditional events are held in different parts of the city.
Local public holidays in 2026: The municipal plenary session approved the 14 September, Christ of Mercy, and the 26 December, Saint Stephen. Both are local non-business days; 26 December falls on a Saturday and is not part of the duration of the patron saint festivities in September.
