Soledad, Water Festivals and local culture

The reference celebration is Our Lady of Solitude, with main day second sunday of september. The usual holiday period lasts several days in September and develops in iglesia, centro urbano, recinto ferial y espacios municipales.

Among the associated traditions, the procession, fair, concerts, booths, attractions, family activities and popular celebrations. Participan principalmente City Council, brotherhood, clubs, associations, neighbors and visitors, when the annual programme contemplates it.

Parla's local holidays must be verified each year in the official work calendar. The patron saint festivities, cultural programming and neighbourhood celebrations provide context, but do not replace the current resolution.

Parla also maintains Water Festivals, theater programming, libraries, youth activities and a cultural agenda in neighbourhoods.
