Las Festivals in August of Elche They are usually concentrated from 7 to 15 August. The nine-day duration culminates with the Assumption of the Virgin. The Misteri d'Elx occupies the Basilica of Santa María: the Vespra is performed on the 14th and the Festa on the 15th. Each event maintains its own organisation within the festive cycle.

In 2026 the municipal cycle Nits de Festa is programmed 7 August to 14 in the Municipal Barraca, located in the parking lot of the Miguel Hernández University. In addition, the XVI Mascletaes Contest sets shots on the 8th, 9th, 11th, 12th and 14th at the intersection of Alcalde Vicente Quiles Avenue and Paseo de la Estación.
