Bonfires of San Juan 2026 programme in Alicante

The Alicante City Council and the Federació de les Fogueres de Sant Joan published the official programme for 2026. The central days were celebrated from 20 June to 24, 2026, with previous events from 5 June and the fireworks display competition until the 29th.

Notice: This page preserves the confirmed programme for the 2026 edition. The events may have been adjusted for organizational, meteorological or security reasons.

Friday 5 June 2026

  • 18:30: Music for a Festa, parking lot of the Alicante Provincial Council Auditorium (ADDA).
  • 19:00: Tribute to deceased foguerers and barraquers, monument to the Foguerer in the Plaza de España.
  • 19:30: Proclamation parade from the Plaza de España through San Vicente, Rambla de Méndez Núñez and Rafael Altamira to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
  • 21:00: Funzo's proclamation from the balcony of the City Hall, Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
  • 22:30: Proclamation Festival, Volvo Museum area.

From 6 June to 17, 2026

  • Saturday 6, 7:00 p.m.: Ninot parade from the Plaza de los Luceros to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
  • Sunday 7, 2:00 p.m.: mascletà from the Pólvora Tot l’Any cycle, Unicef Avenue.
  • Friday the 12th, from 08:00: XX School Fogueres Competition in schools in Alicante.
  • Saturday 13th, 2:00 p.m.: mascletà from the Pólvora Tot l’Any cycle, Gran Vía with Avenida del Pintor Xavier Soler.
  • Saturday 13, 18:00: Entrance of Bands and Commissions from the Plaza de los Luceros to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
  • Sunday 14, from 5:00 p.m.: Closing of the Ninot Exhibition, former Fish Market.
  • Wednesday 17, 8:00 p.m.: Arribada del Foc, light, sound and pyrotechnics show in the Plaza de la Estrella, in front of the façade of El Corte Inglés on Óscar Esplá avenue.

Thursday 18 June 2026

  • 14:00: first mascletà of the 2026 cycle in the Plaza de los Luceros, by Fireworks of the Mediterranean.

Friday 19 June 2026

  • Desde las 09:30: plant of racós and barracks around the city.
  • 14:00: mascletà in the Plaza de los Luceros, Pirotecnia Crespo.

Saturday 20 June 2026

  • 09:00: visit of the jury to the children's bonfires and ninots de carrer.
  • 14:00: mascletà in the Plaza de los Luceros, Pirotecnia Turís.
  • 17:00: reading of prizes from the children's bonfires and ninots de carrer.
  • 17:30: official visit to the winning children's bonfire.
  • 22:00: festivals in racós and barracks.

Sunday 21 June 2026

  • 09:00: jury visit to bonfires, innovative bonfires, barrack covers and decorated streets.
  • 14:00: mascletà in the Plaza de los Luceros, Mediterranean Fireworks.
  • 17:00: reading of bonfire prizes, barrack covers and decorated streets.
  • 17:30: official visit to the winning bonfire.
  • 18:00: first day of the Offering of Flowers to the Virgen del Remedio, from the Plaza de los Luceros by Alfonso el Sabio, Rambla de Méndez Núñez and San José to the co-cathedral of San Nicolás; final in the Town Hall square.
  • 22:00: festivals in racós and barracks.

Monday 22 June 2026

  • 11:00: parade and awards ceremony from the Town Hall square to the Portal de Elche.
  • 14:00: mascletà in the Plaza de los Luceros, Pirotecnia Pibierzo.
  • 18:00: second day of the Offering of Flowers to the Virgen del Remedio, with the same itinerary to the co-cathedral and the Town Hall square.
  • 22:00: festivals in racós and barracks.

  • 14:00: mascletà in the Plaza de los Luceros, Hermanos Ferrández.
  • 19:30: International Folklore Parade from the Plaza de los Luceros by Alfonso el Sabio, Rambla de Méndez Núñez and Rafael Altamira to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
  • 22:00: festivals in racós and barracks.

Wednesday, 24 June 2026: Nit de la Cremà

  • 14:00: mascletà in the Plaza de los Luceros, Alto Palancia Pyrotechnics.
  • 22:00: festivals in racós and barracks.
  • 00:00: Monumental Palm Tree from Mount Benacantil, by Pirotecnia Pibierzo.
  • 00:01: cremà of the Official Bonfire and the Official Children's Bonfire, Town Hall Square.
