Cádiz Carnival Programme 2026

The official programme of the Cádiz Carnival was held from Thursday, 12 February to Sunday, 22 February 2026. The activity was distributed between the Gran Teatro Falla, the Plaza de San Antonio, the Casa del Carnaval and numerous streets and squares.

Notice: This programme reproduces the main events published by the City Council. The organisation could modify schedules, spaces or routes.

Thursday 12 February 2026

12:00: reception for the crier, children's crier, Great Momo and Golden Hercules, Plenary Hall of the City Council.
17:00: final del COAC infantil, Gran Teatro Falla.
17:30: parade of the children's crier from Plaza Fragela to Plaza de San Antonio.
18:00: children's proclamation by Ainhoa Morillo Jarana, Plaza de San Antonio.
19:00: Cádiz Sonora with Las Guerreras K-Pop, Plaza de San Antonio.
20:00: final of the Romanceros Contest, Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions.

20:00: final of the Official Competition of Carnival Groups 2026, Gran Teatro Falla.

Saturday 14 February 2026

13:00-18:00: pirate-themed children's games, Plaza Ana Orantes.
13:00-19:00: choir carousels along the official itineraries.
13:00: batallas de coplas infantiles, Paseo Marítimo.
14:00: battle of couplets with semi-finalist groups, Central Market and Palillero, Cathedral and San Francisco squares.
20:00: proclamation by Manu Sánchez, Plaza de San Antonio.
22:00: Great Carnival Gala with the first adult awards from the COAC, Gran Teatro Falla.
22:30: Carnival nights in the street, La Viña neighbourhood and squares of San Antonio and San Francisco.
