Xinzo de Limia Entroido Programme 2026

The Xinzo de Limia 2026 Entroido was developed from 24 January to 22 February de 2026. The municipal programme brought together five weekends of traditions, displays, parades, music and activities for all ages.

Notice: The programme could undergo changes. In particular, the City Council suspended the Origen and Henry Méndez concerts and the countdown to the Petardazo on 24 January due to adverse weather conditions; He maintained street entertainment with Disco Móbil Apocalipsis, Xituma Batuke and Charanga Achicoria.

Saturday, 24 January 2026: Firecracker

The initial programme placed the Orquestra Origen (21:00-23:45), Henry Méndez (23:30-00:30) and Petardazo (00:00-00:01) in Praza Carlos Casares, acts that were finally suspended for security reasons. They remained:

  • 00:30-01:15: pasacalles con Xituma Batuke.
  • 00:45-03:00: Disco Móbil Apocalipsis, Praza Maior.
  • 01:15-02:15: parade with the Achicoria brass band.
  • 02:15-03:00: pasacalles con Xituma Batuke.

Sunday, 25 January 2026: Domingo Fareleiro

  • 17:00: distribution of flour and beginning of the fareladas in Praza Maior and the old town.

Saturday, 31 January 2026: Colgamento do Meco

  • Departure from Meco from the Museo Galego do Entroido to Praza de Oriente.
  • Entre lusco e fusco: exit towards Praza Maior via Rúa Galicia, Rúa da Sé, Rúa Santa Mariña, Rúa do Peto and Ourense Avenue.
  • 21:00: concierto de The Tetas' Van, Praza Maior.
  • 22:00: concierto de Os D'Abaixo, Praza Maior.

Sunday, 1 February 2026: Domingo Oleiro

  • 12:30: Departure of the Carro das Olas from the Museo do Entroido.
  • 13:00: Oleiro Infantil in Praza Maior, with A Requinta da Laxeira and local groups.
  • 16:00: new departure from the bandwagon with A Requinta da Laxeira and Coro Aimil.
  • 16:30: Oleiro in Praza Maior and through the streets of the old town.
  • Entertainment during the day: A Requinta da Laxeira, Tarde Piaches, Lirolaio, Os da Pedra Alta, Aimil Folck and Os Galos de Antioquia.

Saturday, 7 February 2026: Corredoiro Saturday

  • 20:00: Novas Músicas Festival in Praza de San Roque: Isma B b2b Alex Vigo, Skarmenta b2b Eyra, Jay Rodric b2b Jackloops and 9noa.
  • 21:15-22:00 y 00:00-00:45: Bloco Trifulka.
  • 22:00-23:00, 00:00-01:00 y 02:00-03:00: Armando Jarana.
  • 23:00-00:00 y 01:00-02:00: Sound Band.

Sunday, 8 February 2026: Corredoiro Sunday

  • 12:00: meeting of Screens at the Museo Galego do Entroido and route to Praza Maior along Rúa Dous de Maio, Avenida de Madrid and Avenida de Ourense.
  • 12:00-15:00: alternating passes by Sound Band and Armando Jarana.
  • 18:00-22:00: new alternate passes by Sound Band and Armando Jarana.
  • 19:00-22:00: Paris de Noia Orchestra, Praza de San Roque.

Friday, 13 February 2026: Entroido Friday

  • 11:30-13:00: great children's parade from Avenida de Madrid to the CEIP Carlos Casares, with A Felga, Tatoo, CLK, Bandiños Band and Achicoria.
  • 18:00-19:30: children's entertainment party, Praza Maior.
  • 21:00: II Festa Glam con Locomía.
  • 22:00-23:00 y 00:00-01:00: Charanga La Nota.
  • 23:00-00:00 y 01:00-02:00: Charanga Élite.
  • 23:30: Bloco Trifulka.

  • 01:00: concierto de Festicultores Troupe, Praza Maior.
  • Parade with BB+, Brass Dass and Chicoria in the morning; and Brass Dass, BB+, BCB, Bloco Trifulka, Achicoria and Stacazzo at night.

Tuesday, 17 February 2026: Entroido Tuesday

  • 17:00: Gran Parade do Entroido 2026, animated by Nova Trives, A Felga, Bandiños Band and CLK.
  • 19:00-22:00: Grupo M3, Praza de San Roque.
  • Parades during the day with Bandiños Band, BCB and Grupo Stacazzo.

Wednesday, 18 February 2026: Ash Wednesday

  • 20:00: procession with the Sardine and the Limia Musical Group; tour from Praza Maior through San Roque, Toural, Dous de Maio, Madrid Avenue and Ourense Avenue.
