La Tomatina 2026 Programme in Buñol

• 10:00: Children's Tomatina in the Town Square of Buñol.

The activity is aimed at boys and girls from 4 to 12 years old and adapts the duration and amount of tomato to the age of the participants. Specific access conditions must be checked with the organisation.

Wednesday 26 August 2026

• 12:00: first casing and beginning of La Tomatina in the limited route of the historic centre of Buñol.
• 12:00-13:00: entry of the trucks and battle of tomatoes.
• 13:00: second carcass and obligatory finale of tomato tossing.

Access to the battle site requires a ticket. You must crush the tomatoes before throwing them, keep your distance from the trucks, do not introduce bottles or hard objects and follow the instructions of the security personnel.

Access and practical information

The City Council advises arriving in advance, since traffic in the town centre is restricted during the morning. It is advisable to wear old clothing, closed shoes and eye protection, as well as protect phones and cameras. The points and times for redeeming bracelets depend on the type of entry purchased.
