Night of l'Albà 2026 programme in Elche

• 23:15: official start of the Night of l'Albà. The coordinated and alternating shooting of colored palm trees begins from various points of the city, mainly around the Basilica of Santa María.
• Minutes before 00:00: The shooting stops and the urban lighting goes out. In the silence the sound sounds Gloria Patri del Misteri d'Elx.
• 00:00 on Friday the 14th: launching of the Palm Tree of the Virgin from the bell tower of the Basilica of Santa María, culmination of the pyrotechnic offering.

Other official events of the night

• 00:30: DJ session with Josete & Chanclete, Rhy Mo and Kutxu at the Candalix school, Indie Elx area.
• 01:00: Great Carretillà organised by the Association of Carretillers i Tradicions d'Elx in Hort del Monjo, Filet de Fora.
• 01:00: Corridor Effect concert at the Hort de Baix, with free admission until capacity is reached.
• 01:30: OBK in the Municipal Barraca, located in the parking lot of the Miguel Hernández University; Doors open at 01:00 and free access until capacity is reached.
• 01:30: Dani Mixtika, VDJ Ralph and Jony Music at the Elx Music Fest booth, on the Torre dels Vaïllos esplanade; Free access until capacity is reached.

How to follow the palm tree shot

The City Council publishes a specific list with the order and dedications of the sponsored palm trees. The Nit de l'Albà extends throughout the city and does not have a single grandstand: the launching points are distributed throughout Elche and the final palm tree leaves from Santa María. Safety zones and any municipal restrictions on the private use of fireworks must be respected.
