Programme of the Rocío Pilgrimage 2026
The official programming of the Rocío 2026 Pilgrimage took place between 8 and 25 May 2026. The preparatory services began in Almonte and the central events of the pilgrimage took place from 20 May to 25 on the road, the Sanctuary and the village of El Rocío.

From Friday, 8 May to Saturday, 16 May 2026
- 20:30: Solemn novena in the parish church of Our Lady of the Assumption of Almonte, with rosary, exercise of the novena and Eucharist.
- Saturday 16, 7:00 p.m.: reception and imposition of medals on the new brothers.
Sunday 17 May 2026
- 21:00: Main Function of the Institute in Almonte, chaired by the bishop of Huelva, Santiago Gómez Sierra.
- A continuación: Holy Rosary processional along the usual itinerary.
Wednesday, 20 May 2026
- 10:00: Romeros Mass in Alto del Molinillo, in Chaparral.
- A continuación: processional departure of the Matriz Brotherhood on the way to the Rocío Sanctuary.
Thursday 21 May 2026
- 11:00: Mass in the Sanctuary before the Virgin, with the assistance of the Mother Brotherhood.
Friday, 22 May 2026
- 11:00: Mass in the Sanctuary before the Virgin, with the assistance of the Mother Brotherhood.
- 18:00: beginning of the solemn reception of filial brotherhoods before the Main Door of the Sanctuary, in reverse order of seniority.
Saturday 23 May 2026
- 11:00: Mass in the Sanctuary, with assistance from the Mother Brotherhood.
- 12:00: continuation of the presentation of subsidiary brotherhoods before the Puerta Mayor, in order of seniority.
- 24:00: Departure of the Almonte processional Rosary along the traditional itinerary.
Sunday 24 May 2026
- 10:00: Solemn Pentecost Mass on Paseo Marismeño, in front of the Sanctuary, presided over by the Bishop of Huelva. The brotherhoods participate with their simpecados and insignia.
- 20:00: mass of drummers, carters and rocket players.
- 24:00: Santo Rosario from the Plaza de Doñana, presided over by the Mother Brotherhood and with the participation of the branches; at the end, Solemn Hail.
Monday, 25 May 2026
- Tras el Rosario: procession of Our Lady of Rocío on the shoulders of the people of Almont along the traditional itinerary. The official source does not set an exact departure time.
