Mequinenza San Blas and Santa Águeda 2026 programme
This official 2026 schedule summarises the published dates, times and venues. Times and activities may be changed by the organisers.
29 and 31 January
The programme opens on Thursday 29 with a coques workshop for pupils at María Quintana School. At noon on Saturday 31, the committees' representatives symbolically receive the Staff of Office in the Council Chamber.
3 and 5 February
San Blas is celebrated on Tuesday 3 and Santa Águeda on Thursday 5 with processions accompanied by Pa Beneït, solemn Masses sung by the local choir and the rosary in the church during the afternoon.
6 to 8 February
Friday and Saturday bring street parades, costume competitions at the Sports Hall and dances at Sala Vora Riu. Sunday closes with a children's show and hot chocolate at Sala Vora Riu and a performance by Unión Musical de Garrapinillos at Sala Goya.
