Holy Week in Cabra 2026 programme

The 2026 edition took place from Sunday 29 March to Sunday 5 April. This summary puts the processional departures from the official schedule into date order; the document linked below gives the full routes, official-route timings, musical accompaniment and details of each brotherhood.

Palm Sunday, 29 March

  • 11:45: Pollinita, from Nuestra Señora de las Angustias convent.
  • 17:30: Lavatorio, from Asunción y Ángeles parish church.
  • 18:00: Oración en el Huerto, from the Oratorio de la Purísima at Fundación Aguilar y Eslava.
  • 18:45: Misericordia, from Nuestra Señora de los Remedios parish church.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of Holy Week

  • Monday 30, 19:50: Calvario y Rosario from Nuestra Señora de los Remedios; the Sangre parade began at 21:15, followed by departure from Asunción y Ángeles at 22:00.
  • Tuesday 31, 19:00: Sentencia y Paz from San Francisco y San Rodrigo parish church.
  • Wednesday 1, 19:20: Estudiantes from the Capuchin chapel at the Escolapias convent; at 20:00, Necesidades from Santo Domingo de Guzmán.

Maundy Thursday, 2 April

Expiración opened the early hours at 00:30 from the Fundación Termens chapel. Later departures were Piedad at 13:00 from Asunción y Ángeles; Jesús Preso at 18:50 from the same church; Esperanza at 19:00 from Santo Domingo de Guzmán; Columna y Caridad at 19:30 from Asunción y Ángeles; and Vera-Cruz at 20:30 from San Juan Bautista.

Good Friday, 3 April

The day began with Silencio at 01:00 and Humildad y Paciencia at 06:30, both from Santo Domingo de Guzmán. Nazareno y Mayor Dolor left Asunción y Ángeles at 12:00. Afternoon departures were Rocío at 17:40, Descendimiento and the traditional Dolores parade at 19:00, Angustias del convento at 19:50, Santo Sepulcro at 20:30 and Nuestra Señora de los Dolores at 20:50.

Holy Saturday, 4 April

  • 00:01: Perdón, from Nuestra Señora de las Angustias convent.
  • 11:00: Soledad, from Los Remedios parish church.
  • 20:00: Socorro, from Asunción y Ángeles parish church.

Easter Sunday, 5 April

Nuestro Padre Jesús Resucitado left Santo Domingo de Guzmán parish church at 11:00. The route followed Antonio Povedano, Santa Ana, La Cruz, Arquilla, Redondo Marqués, Plaza de España, Plaza Vieja, Alcalá Galiano, Plaza de San Agustín and Priego, with return scheduled for 14:10.
