Programme of the festivities of San Antón de Jaén 2026

Jaén celebrated its tourist-cultural programme of San Antón del Thursday, 15 January to Sunday, 18 January 2026. The central event was on the night of Saturday the 17th, with the lights starting at 6:00 p.m. and the 43rd San Antón Night International Urban Race.

Notice: The City Council updated the programme after publishing it. The "San Antón Sinfónico" concert on Saturday and the lights of La Lola Dolores, the Parish of the Immaculate and San Pedro Pascual and the Diocesan Seminary were suspended. Activities from 12 January to 6 February 2026

  • From 12 January to 18: San Antón 2026 gastronomic circuit, in participating establishments.
  • From 15 January to 6 February, Monday to Friday, 08:00-21:00: exhibition "The Archive tells you... the Festival of San Antón", hall of the Jaén City Council.

Thursday 15 January 2026

  • 20:00: proclamation of San Antón 2026 by José García García, presented by Eva de Dios, at the Darymelia Theater. Free entry until capacity is reached.

  • 10:00-18:30: 2x1 entrance to the Jaén Cathedral presenting race registration and ID; guided tours at 12:00 and 17:00.
  • 10:00 y 16:00: via ferrata Fuente de la Peña, with Sebastián Miranda.
  • 10:30: Visit "San Antón 2026. Essential Jaén", from the Plaza de Santa María.
  • 11:00 y 17:00: Guided tour of the historic centre, from the Plaza de Santa María.
  • 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 17:00, 18:00 y 19:00: visit to the Santiago Air Raid Shelter, special San Antón, Plaza de Santiago.
  • 17:00, 17:30 y 18:00: visit to the Patatas Oya factory, Mancha Real street, 4, Los Olivares Industrial Park.
