Programme of the festivities of San Lorenzo de Huesca 2026

The festivities of San Lorenzo de Huesca are celebrated from Sunday 9 August to Saturday 15 August 2026. The municipal programme brings together 288 events and distributes religious, folkloric, musical, family and club proposals throughout the city.

Sunday 9 August 2026

  • 09:00: placing scarves to San Juan Bosco, in Salesianos San Bernardo, and greeting San Lorenzo in his square.
  • 10:15: raising of the flags of France and Spain in the Cathedral Square.
  • 12:00: proclamation and announcing rocket from the Town Hall; parade from the Cathedral Square through Coso Alto and Porches de Galicia to the Plaza de Navarre.
  • 19:00: parade of Gigantes, Cabezudos and Caballicos from the Cathedral Square.
  • 21:00: Solemn Compline in the Basilica of San Lorenzo and jotera round of the balconies.
  • 22:30: Bourry Rouch and Mirlos Folk duo in General Alsina square.
  • 23:00: It rounds San Lorenzo in the Plaza de San Lorenzo.
  • 00:00: festival with the Centauro La Grupestra Orchestra in the Luis López Allué square.

Monday 10 August 2026

  • 08:00: targets and rockets in the University Park, manual touches in the Cathedral and distribution of basil between Coso Bajo and the Plaza de San Lorenzo.
  • 08:30: first performance of the Danzantes de Huesca in the Plaza de San Lorenzo.
  • 09:15: Solemn procession from the Basilica of San Lorenzo.
  • 12:45: performance of Gigantes, Cabezudos and Caballicos in the Cathedral Square.
  • 20:30: festival with the La Fania Perfect Orchestra in the Luis López Allué square.
  • 22:30: Berluna and Luna Maquilera in General Alsina Square.
  • 23:30: fireworks in the University Park and Camel concert in the Plaza de Navarre.
  • 00:15: Fangoria concert in the outer space of the Palacio de Congresos.

Tuesday 11 August 2026

  • 07:30: morning parades of the brass bands to the bullring.
  • 09:30: Oscense Commerce Festival in the Luis López Allué square, with Dancers and Music Band.
  • 11:30: children's bull run from Plaza Lizana to Plaza de Navarre.
  • 12:00: parades, magic and inflatables in the Old Town, Plaza de Navarre and the Congress Palace.
  • 19:00-23:00: Reberde Fest with Ixeya, Radices and Bosnerau in Parque Universidad.
  • 22:30: Romaní and Aulaga Folk in the General Alsina square.
  • 23:30: Eighties Party Los 40 Classic in the Plaza de Navarre.
  • 00:15: Nil Moliner at the Congress Palace.

Wednesday 12 August 2026

  • 07:30: morning parades to the bullring; at 08:00, release of heifers.
  • 12:00: family programming and charanguero vermouth in the San Lorenzo neighbourhood, Plaza de Navarre and the Palacio de Congresos.
  • 12:00-13:30: Parade of Giants, Cabezudos and Caballicos by María Auxiliadora and Santiago.
  • 18:15: opening of the eclipse observation site at the Walqa Technology Park; beginning of the eclipse at 7:30 p.m.
  • 22:30: Olga and Los Ministriles in the General Alsina square and observation of the Perseids in Walqa.
  • 23:30: Deltó, tribute to Extremoduro, in the Plaza de Navarre.
  • 00:15: Big Lois at the Congress Palace.

Thursday 13 August 2026

  • 08:00: release of heifers in the bullring.
  • 11:00: recognition of Huesca residents abroad in the Town Hall and children's bull run from the Plaza de San Lorenzo.
  • 12:00: concert by the Music Band in the Miguel Servet Park and children's activity in the Plaza de Navarre.
  • 18:30: fourth fair and bullfight on Zarandia Street.
  • 22:00: «Yûgen» circus in the Cathedral Square.
  • 23:00: fireworks in University Park.
  • 23:30: Null, Zumo de Lepra and Fongo in the Plaza de Navarre.
  • 00:15: Nacha Pop at the Congress Palace.

Friday 14 August 2026

  • 07:30: morning parades; at 08:00, release of heifers.
  • 11:00-14:00: inflatable playground in María Auxiliadora, Alcalde Emilio Miravé street.
  • 12:00-13:30: Gigantes, Cabezudos and Caballicos in Santo Domingo, San Martín and San Lorenzo.
  • 19:00: XIII Trobada de Gaiteros de Aragon, with parades from various points in the centre.
  • 20:30: festival with the Sabor Sabor Orchestra in the Luis López Allué square.
  • 22:00: “Tenet” circus in the Cathedral Square.
  • 23:30: Salsa Punk Orkestra in the Plaza de Navarre.
  • 00:15-06:30: Andrés Campo at the Congress Palace.

Saturday 15 August 2026

  • 07:30: last morning parades; at 08:00, release of heifers.
  • 09:30: tribute to the elderly in the Multipurpose Room of the Congress Palace.
  • 10:15: San Lorenzo Women's Cycling Grand Prix, starting and finishing on Monreal Avenue.
  • 11:30: San Lorenzo Men's Cycling Grand Prix, on Monreal Avenue.
  • 19:00: offering of flowers and fruits to San Lorenzo with Dancers, Music Band and folk groups.
  • 22:45: parade at the end of the festivities from the Plaza de Santo Domingo to the Plaza de San Lorenzo.
  • 23:30: Farewell to the saint in the Plaza de San Lorenzo.
  • 00:00: fireworks and final fireworks in the Plaza de Navarre.
