Holy Week in Ocaña 2026 programme
The council presented the official programme book and published events for the 2026 edition, held between Saturday 28 March and Sunday 5 April. This selection covers processions and services for which the municipal source published a time and place.

Saturday, 28 March
The children's procession left San José convent at 12 noon. The Holy Week proclamation, delivered by Raúl Plata Molina, began at 8.30 pm in Teatro Lope de Vega.
Holy Monday, 30 March
The Cristo Rey de los Mártires procession left San José convent at 9 pm and travelled through Ocaña's principal streets.
Holy Tuesday, 31 March
Santa María church hosted a penitential service at 7.30 pm and the Santa Vigilia at 10 pm. The processional transfer of Nuestro Padre Jesús de Medinaceli left Santa Clara church at 9.30 pm.
Holy Wednesday, 1 April
The brotherhood Mass was held at 10 am in Santa María. The processional transfer of Santa Mujer Verónica left the same church at 9 pm, followed by a concert at the Dominican friars' convent.
Maundy Thursday, 2 April
Confessions began at 10 am in the Dominican friars' convent. Santa María hosted the Rendición de Honores at 5 pm and the feast of the Real Archicofradía de Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno at 6 pm. Services of the Lord's Supper began at 5 pm in San Juan, 5.30 pm at the Dominican nuns' convent and 6 pm in Santa María and the Dominican friars' convent. The Jesús de Medinaceli penitential procession left San Juan at 10 pm; Holy Hour began in Santa María at 11 pm.
Good Friday, 3 April
The brotherhood parade began at 8 am. After the Sermón de la Pasión at 8.45 am in Santa María, the Procesión de las Caídas left that church at 9.15 am. In the afternoon, services of the Passion began at 4.30 pm in San Juan and 5.30 pm at other churches listed by the council.
Holy Saturday, 4 April
Easter vigils began at 9 pm in the Dominican friars' convent and at 10 pm in the other churches listed by the council.
Easter Sunday, 5 April
The procession of Nuestra Señora de Gracia and Jesús Resucitado left the Dominican friars' convent at 10.45 am and held the Encuentro. Easter Masses took place at 9 am in San Juan; 10 am at the Dominican nuns' convent; 11 am, 12.30 pm and 8 pm at the Dominican friars' convent; 1 pm in Santa María; and 7 pm in San Juan.
