A gastronomic celebration
Cocido brings together meats, cured sausages, chickpeas and vegetables in a winter dish. Restaurants, producers and residents make it the focus of Lalín's gastronomic promotion.
The main day
The central day includes an official reception, opening of the fair, proclamation, and a parade of floats, brass bands, carnival groups and musical ensembles through the fairground and Lalín's streets.
Mes do Cocido
The fair forms part of a wider calendar of presentations, food, culture and community events. It is designated a Festival of International Tourist Interest.
